Wish fulfilling gem of ornaments, prayer for the attainment of the wisdom of the lama – Lame Drub-pa Sam-phel Nor Bu yi Gyen
Many of us know this prayer when HH 33rd Menri Trizin Rinpoche passed away. The devotes who assembled in Menri monastery and in other parts of the world recited a section of this prayer every evening.
This prayer was composed with a heartfelt devotion by Dul-Wa Gyaltsen, the great practitioner of Ye-Ru Wen-Sa-Kha monastery.
He got this spontaneous inspiration in front of the relic stupa of the great Master Dro-gon Lodoe Gyaltsen.
Bonpos practitioners and followers generally recite this prayer during a Tenzhug (long life prayer offering to a great Lama).
The section on the five kinds of offerings is especially recited when a Lama passes away (while he or she is in a meditative state).
