Escape From Darkness

This is the biography of Shenza Nechung, Buddha Tonpa Shenrap Miwo’s youngest daughter. In the Bön tradition, there are numerous female lay and nun practitioners who attained high spiritual states. Their stories are included in Bön texts and also are a part of local folklore. These stories, however, have not been extricated from the texts or recorded from the folklore. This book is an attempt to fill a void that has been left for centuries.
The Lamp of Uza Rinchen Sal
Illuminating the Illusory Vision of the Bardo, the Purifying Period of the Karmic Vision of the Six Lokas, and a Pure Vision of the Sugatas.
In this remarkable narrative, Uza Rinchen Sal, a 15th century Tibetan woman guides us through the realms beyond death. Falling ill, Uza Rinchen dies, travels with guides through the lands of the dead (the Bardo), visits the realms of the enlightened ones, and returns to life just before her body is to be burned. Her amazing and detailed account is entirely in accord with the teachings of Bön, and the advice she receives from her guides and the many compassionate teachers along her path, both human and non-human, are powerful reminders that we must all practice compassion in this very life, and that the only escape from samsara is to recognize the nature of one’s own mind.
Teachings
Ngondro introductory practices from the Transmission of Experience with Zhang Zhung
Online every Sunday at 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Starting – May 11, 2024
We cordially invite everyone interested to the Ngondro introductory practice course, led by an exceptional teacher, Sangmo Yangri. Ngondro is the base, the foundation, the foundation for further practice. They are called introductory practices, but many masters and teachers practice them throughout their lives. We want these meetings and this group to have a slightly different character than the classic course.
First, we want to add a lot of practice to the explanations and teachings. We want to practice both during joint weekly meetings and individually between them.
We also want this group, through joint practice and weekly meetings, to become a bridge to integration and friendship between Yungdrung Bon practitioners around the world. With such a strong, compassionate and knowledgeable teacher, this is a very achievable goal.
For those who have additional questions or need deeper explanations, Sangmo Yangri offers its time and the possibility of individual meetings.
The course will be held via the ZOOM platform. Meetings will be held every Sunday at 15:00 CET. The course is initially planned for one year.
The first meeting will take place on May 11, 2024.
Monthly cost PLN 100.
The meetings will be recorded.
Participants will have access to recordings and texts posted on the dropbox. We welcome both advanced practitioners and people who are just starting their adventure with Yungdrung Bon practice. It is also possible to meet individually with the teacher.
We will use the book Ngondro (>>>order in our store), preliminary teachings from the Transmission of Experience of Zhang Zhung according to the textbook (phyag khrid) by Dru Gyalwa Yungdrung.
